Planning Teams Training

The planning team was invited and received a grant to attend the “How to Run a Math Teachers’ Circle” workshop June 17-21, 2013 in Washington, D.C. by the national Math Teacher Circles (MTC) training team.  They participated in MTC sessions in the morning and discussed logistics for getting their own MTC together in the afternoons.  The workshop was funded by theAmerican Institute of Mathematics and was hosted by the Mathematics Association of America. This team will plan the first Immersion Workshop in 2014 and the monthly meetings in the 2014-2015 academic year.
