The New Haven County Math Teachers’ Circle (NHCMTC) is a professional development community of mathematics teachers and mathematicians who meet regularly to work on rich mathematics problems.
The NHCMTC seeks to provide opportunities for local middle school teachers to engage in rich problem-solving activities that rekindle their joy of mathematics. These opportunities are also designed to provide a local network of like-minded individuals and the chance to develop new working relationships. Finally, a library of resources for teachers that support problem-solving in their classroom will be created and sustained based on the teachers’ needs and the NHCMTC’s mission.
The NHCMTC is a Member Circle of the Math Teachers’ Circle Network.
